Manic Musings Magazine celebrates the talent and artistry of those who live with bipolar disorder and depression. Our raison detre` is to honor the creative spirit of poets, writers, and artists who sculpt beauty, often from their own suffering.
Throughout this site, you will find works by authors and artists, both professional and amateur. What they all have in common is that they or a family member or close friend has been diagnosed as having one of the affective disorders, and that they all cultivate their artistic talents.
If you or one of your family members or friends have bipolar disorder, depression, of any of the affective disorders, you will find information and resources here. Hopefully you will gain further insight from the creative writing and artwork published by Manic Musings Magazine.
If you are having a mental health crisis, you should contact your physician immediately, or call 911 for assistance. If you are feeling suicidal, please go to this site NOW.
